Located in one of the neatest little spots in the park, this is a great place to start a day of Geocaching adventures at Silver Lake. Park hours are 5:00am - 10:00pm. BYOP for this small cache. Just enough room for a log and a few tiny souvenirs for the first couple of Cachers to find it! Happy hunting! **Note**: This cache will require some walking from the parking spots, probably about 5 min. to walk to the site. The site itself is not difficult to navigate and pretty easy to walk around in and there are lots of interesting little foot bridges, stream, waterfall, and things to explore. When placing the cache the area was clear of any nests for critters, especially the buzzy kind, but because this is nature and it does what it wants, it's recommended that you check the area to make sure you can retrieve the cache safely.
