Geocache Description:

This cache, located in Holland-Watson Helicopter Park in downtown Chickamauga, begins with an interesting historical marker which describes the very earliest beginnings of the town – jointly established by a hero of the recently-concluded Civil War, Col. John Wilder, and two prominent businessmen and political figures, James and Gordon Lee. This marker sits beside the original Alexander's Bridge, relocated here from the nearby Chickamauga Battlefield. (Interestingly, this structure, in its original location, was the site of Team Bear-Cat's very first geocache find.)
