I have been waiting for Anzac Day to release this Cache ......
Recently I was holidaying in Dargaville for a couple of days ....And as well as doing some cache maintenance I managed to get 3 out of the way geocaches in the back roads near here !
I was astonished as I drove through Arapohue to see this huge structure ....A Memorial Gate right by the roadside !
There also seems to be a private cemetery behind ....it was all closed off .
This was designed by the Montgomery family ....to rember family members who died in the first world War .
It was unveiled in Nov 2017
I also read quite a bit about them in the Dargaville Museum ; which is well worth a visit.
You do not need to climb any fences here .
Please respect the sentiment of the memorial.
Hanging Low .Look for logs and rocks .
