Almost a year and a half after the Thomas Fire scorched the trails around Ojai and other areas, OVC members are still checking on geocaches, repairing those that survived and archiving those that didn't and replacing them with OOTA (Out Of The Ashes) geocaches.
I had a geocache in the area, Stinking Nice Canada Larga Overlook. That geocache did not survive the Thomas Fire. Out of the Ashes come new geocaches.
