***SEPTEMBER 2019 UPDATE***
Work is underway to open up access to the reserve. All old horse fencing and old buildings have been removed in this stretch, and there are numerous muddy tracks left by diggers as part of the process.
***MAY 2021 UPDATE***
Tree clearing is taking place. The many sweet pittosporum around GZ have been felled and the area has been dramatically opened up. Cache temporarily disabled and removed until things settle down again.
Message from DELWP:

***AUGUST 2021 UPDATES***
August 14: Tree clearing seems to have stopped for now. Relocating cache and hoping the new location might endure for a little while yet. Old VicRoads “Keep Out” sign has finally been removed from the Western access trailhead!
August 30: With Saturday’s press release (see above) it seems tree clearing is back on. Cache is once more exposed, so it’s time to disable and temporarily remove it once more.
***SEPTEMBER 2021 UPDATE***
Works continue in the upper meadow, so Magic Spell has relocated into Bellbird Dell proper.
***SEPTEMBER 2023 UPDATE***
Park plan finalised with details available via the Victorian Government and Parks Victoria websites.
***APRIL 2024 UPDATE***

The park's name has been announced as ngarrak nakorang wilam park, with work commencing later this year. The name means 'Mountain Meeting Place' and was chosen by the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation. The corporation represents Traditional Owners of these lands, the Wurundjeri people, and has been a key stakeholder in planning for this park.
Cache information
You do not need to bring any additional tools to open this cache - everything you need is provided. Please don't force things. Be patient and take your time when opening the box - it may take more than one attempt to get it right!
TIP: Push on the front towards the top with one hand whilst doing your ‘thing’ with the other.
The cache has room for SMALL swaps - if the inner box doesn’t close easily then the swap is too big. Please take it with you, as trying to force things closed will cause damage.
Please follow the orange closing instructions inside the cache when done (take a photo for reference).
Thanks to Washawa and paultheball for the inspiration to try something different.
***CONGRATULATIONS to DavidNessie, Archie B1 & B2 and Washawa on the triple FTF***
