This is the Cathedral of Saint Paul, seat of the Bishop of Worcester, the Most Reverend Robert J. McManus. Since Mass was first celebrated here on July 4, 1869 the Worcester Cathedral has been home to a rich tapestry of immigrants and natives, pontifical and parochial liturgies, educational initiatives for young and old, and outreach to the poor.
