It is popularly known as the Weihuei Temple. The chief deity is Kaitzang Shengwang, Yuanguang Chen, who was a patron saint of Zhangzhou. Emigrants from seven counties in Zhangzhou advocated and collected money to build the temple in 1733. It was also a meeting place for countrymen. The temple has three bays, four entrances, and two covered porches. The temple’s appearance is simple and unsophisticated; the pattern is strict and orderly. The chief deity in the main hall is a clay sculpture of Shengwang. The back hall was rented to civilians in the early years, so the appearance has changed slightly. The back hall is now dedicated to worshiping Shengwang’s wife. The right wing-room is dedicated to patrons who contributed money to build the temple. Stone carvings of the temple are exquisite, especially the figure eight wall and brick pillars, which deserve careful admiration.
聖王廟，又稱威惠宮，主祀開漳聖王陳元光，為漳州地方之守護神。清雍正11年(1733)由漳州七縣移民倡議捐資興建，並作為同鄉聚會之所。本廟為三開間四進兩廊縱深配置的廟宇，廟貌古樸，格局嚴整。正殿祀聖王泥塑聖像，後殿早年曾租給民間使用，致面貌有所更動，今供奉聖王夫人；右廂房則奉祀捐資建廟者長生祿位。本廟之石雕精美，八字牆與磚柱皆甚特別，值得細細品味。
