Mănăstirea Trivale
[RO] Mănăstirea Trivale a fost ctitorită de Trifan şi Stanca Stăncescu în a două jumătate a secolului al XV-lea. Prima biserică a fost construită din lemn. Aceasta va fi reclădită din piatră în timpul domniei lui Matei Basarab, dar între anii 1670 şi 1673, ajunsă în ruină a fost refăcută din piatră şi cărămidă de către Varlaam, patriarhul Ţării Româneşti. Picturile mănăstirii sunt făcute în 1731 de Ioasaf Grecu, şi restaurate în anul 1904.
În perioada comunistă Mănăstirea Trivale nu a funcţionat, ea fiind redeschisă în anul 1991. În prezent este o obşte de călugări, având hramul "Sfânta Treime".
Locul înconjurător este feeric, iar grădina mănăstirii cuprinde biserica de un alb plin de puritate, o troiţă, clopotniţă şi chiliile inundate de ghirlande de flori.
Numele de Trivale provine de la faptul că locul unde a fost construită mănăstirea reprezintă confluența a trei văi.

Trivale Monastery
[EN] Trivale Monastery was founded by Trifan and Stanca Stancescu in the second half of the 15th century. The first church was built of wood. It will be rebuilt from stone during the reign of Matei Basarab, but between 1670 and 1673, ruined, it was restored from stone and brick by Varlaam, patriarch of Wallachia. The paintings of the monastery are made in 1731 by Ioasaf Grecu, and restored in 1904.
During the communist period the Trivale Monastery did not function and was reopened in 1991. At present it is a community of monks, having the patronage of the Holy Trinity.
The surrounding area is enchanting, and the garden of the monastery includes the church of a pure white, a trot, a bell tower, and the flooded cellars of flower garlands.
The name Trivale originates from the fact that the place where the monastery was built is the confluence of three valleys.
