Because of the sensitive ecology of the site environment, we are providing very explicit location description. Please cache with this in mind, and consider the challenge to be a smooth extraction & replacement in a very public place. In other words, "no trompin' through the daisies".
This cache is -next to- an urban bioswale, or run-off water recovery system. Sound complicated? Its not... its beautiful.
Once at the site, try taking a seat next to a column b/w 'Wendell Berry' & "Eventually all things merge into one & a river runs through it." Enjoy a newspaper, and see how casually you can feel around.
The cache is in a green coffee can, not buried, but under stone.
The building on this site is well worth wandering into and checking out. The cache was set in celebration of the Public Release of Portland's first GreenMap, which you can get inside.
