The island of Pezonisi, an hour and a half by road and ferry from Athens, was once an exclusive upmarket resort called "The island of Dreams".
Guests at the resort could enjoy the private beaches, tennis courts, restaurants and other facilities while staying in small rooms dotted about the wooded island. At the beginning of the new millenium, the island's glory days were over and years of under-investment, mismanagement, and debt saw the decline and eventual closure of what had once been the pride of the local tourist industry.
Since 2011, the Greek Government has been trying to find private investors who will restore The Island of Dreams. There have been offers from wealthy American and Russian tycoons, but none of these have, as yet, been enough to overcome the tangled web of Greek bureaucracy. The buildings are left to rot, vandals have destroyed much of what could have been restored, and the island is now a spooky ghost town.

...and now.
The cache is a small metallic bison tube hidden just across the bridge that links the island to Evia, but outside of the rotting fences and walls of the resort compound itself. You will need to bring a pen to sign the logbook, and please be careful to hide the cache as well as you found it.
