Around here there is a pig who's often seen.
Some may even say she is the village queen,
Her name is Java Bean.
She encourages community, shopping small, & going green,
I sure wish she could be on my geocaching team.
She knows everything happening here, even as she dreams.
But something new is going on, she wonders what does it mean?
People keep showing up out where the trees are clumped.
Hardly has their vehicle stopped when out they've jumped.
They look around, high & low, excited and so pumped.
Soon they let out a whoop and she knows they have triumphed.
They rifle through a canister, one child takes something, another thing gets dumped.
It's this strange ritual that has poor Beans stumped.
Finally, Beans has to know, what the people reach.
It doesn't take her long to find, with all the people teach.
She rolls the can with her snout and her hooves each,
Alas no luck, she has no thumbs, without them opening it's no peach.
Now she gets up on her village stump and to all begins to preach.
"Come and find my geocache, in the heart of North Myrtle Beach!"
This geocache is located in the heart of NMB near my favorite coffee shop! While you're here be sure to check out the mural on the wall. It was painted by one of the shop employees, Rocky. The shop owner, Mary, knows about the placement as does her staff. The container is a camo-painted screw-top canister. It's pretty big because one of my family's favorite things about geocaching is how much it is for the kids. So we wanted a container with lots of room for tradeables. We've started it off with some, and I'll be keeping an eye and restocking it too. There is an FTF Wooden Nickel in with the log for the FTF! We hope you enjoy this cache and the little neighborhood it's in. Many people, even locals, don't pay much attention to these hidden local gems back here until they need to (like when they're looking for parking for the Christmas Parade.)
