Geocache Description:

A cache at the south region of Hungary with historical mementos in the neighborhood.

The first glass factory here was founded in 1760 by German glass masters. In the vicinity there was enough wood for heating and also a quartz-sand mine. Glass manufacturing came to an end in the 19th century, and the houses collapsed. To get to Pusztabanya you have to cross the paved road of foresters. There is a hunter house and tourist house to be found.
