Penguin's Loot on Looney Island. You need a boat, so the Mighty Penguins will call it 4.5 stars. It's not really that hard. Can put in 1/4 mile from cache.
PENGUIN'S LOOT! Grab your boat and go to Looney Island. This island has quite an unsual history relating to Knoxville. The Looney family (freed slaves by the way) owned this island. A stolen riverboat hit this island and was grounded over a hundred years ago. Back to the cache. Standard ammo box. Please put the cache back to where it was. Contains Log book, Mardi Gras beads, coins (euros Dmark and Yaun) , some hot wheels cars a lobster toy, fishing supplies and a Mighty Penguin Travel kit. Closest boat ramps are at Marine Park and Sequoha hills park. Wear your lifejackets and enjoy watching the Blue Herons. This area is a bit muddy and overgrown so be prepared to get dirty, wet and bit by bugs. Best place to beach at this time is on the north side of the island, just a few west of the cache.
