State Street Transformer Pad – in bird alley! ARTility is a beautification program aimed at reducing maintenance on PSE’s assets by covering them with art. Public blank canvases like transformers and large building walls are purposefully covered in art, which saves customers money by reducing or eliminating clean-up costs because they’re less likely to be vandalized with graffiti. Bellingham artists Gretchen Leggitt and Max McNett completed this transformer design as a renewable energy theme building off the Encogen mural. An additional goal of ARTility is to promote PSE’s commitment to carbon reduction. We are in this TOGETHER and you can help.
