This is a Challenge Cache. The cache is hidden at the posted coordinates. You can sign the log at any time but can only claim a find if you have both satisfied the challenge criteria and signed the log. Pending achieving the challenge criteria, please feel free to leave a 'Write Note' on this page. Hopefully this is a chance to reflect on Wherigos that you have enjoyed in the past, whether that means memories of dragons, fairies or Glaswegian comedians....
Up until recently we were not at all Wherigo Fans. See here for more information on that. That has all changed in recent weeks, now that we can get the darn things to work. We know that iPhoners struggle to get wherigos to work sometimes but as long as you have signed the logs, we don't mind at all if you needed assistance or simply followed a Droid.
So, the challenge here is a very simple one. Find 25 Wherigos. There's a checker below to see if you qualify. We were tempted to go with '25 Wherigos in at least 5 countries' but we feared that this would then get as much traffic as our Whicker Man Challenge.
Tree cover and the lack of a GPS (on our part) mean that finding the cache will mean keeping your eyes peeled. For this reason the difficulty level is high. Also undoubtedly at least some of those 25 Wherigos will have challenged you. Pay attention to the attributes. Open Maps show the routes to GZ, either from Eaglesham, Mearns or Firwood Roads.
