Amagasaki gate (Amagasaki Komon) is a gate that separates the canal and rivers in the waterfront area from Amagasaki Port.
It is also known as "Ama lock".
It is currently the sole facility in operation which has Panama Canal style.
It is necessary to apply in advance to the Port Management Office for a tour of the facility.

別名・尼ロック。
海抜0m地帯の高潮防止のため、全国初で現在唯一実際に稼働しているパナマ運河方式の施設です。
施設の見学には、港管理室へ事前申し込みが必要です。
