Село Медово е разположено в южните поли на Източна Средна гора (т. н.Сърнена гора). То отстои на 25км северозападно от Чирпан, на 50км североизточно от Пловдив и на около 50км югозападно от Казанлък. Близо до село Медово е скалният феномен "Вкаменената сватба". "Местната легенда гласи, че един богат човек правил голяма сватба. През това време Господ слязъл там преоблечен в дрипави дрехи като просяк. Помолил сватбарите за малко храна, но те му отказали и той за наказание ги вкаменил." От центъра на село Медово следвайте указателните табели, те ще Ви заведат до Янкина поляна, където може да оставите колата. The village of Medovo is situated in the southern skirts of Eastern Sredna Gora Mountain (called Surnena Gora). It is 25km northwest of Chirpan, 50km northeast of Plovdiv and about 50km southwest of Kazanlak. Near the village of Medovo is the rock phenomenon "The Petrified Wedding".
