This event will be held at the Dexheimer Shelter in Cosmo Park in Columbia, Missouri from 10am to 2pm. This will be a simple meet & greet event so no food will be available.
Mr. Harmonica was selected by Geocaching HQ to be the new volunteer reviewer in June 2018 to replace the retiring volunteer reviewer, Banjo-Boy. The identity of Mr. Harmonica has been kept secret for almost a whole year. This event will change that.
Hosted by fellow neighboring reviewers, Iowa Landmark from Iowa, Heartland Cacher from Nebraska, Reviewer Smith from Illinois, and our own Banjo-Boy (retired in Missouri), Mr. Harmonica's identity will be revealed. But, there is a catch.
Some Geocachers have an idea who he is, some have no CLUE. Some did not even know he existed, mainly because he only reviewed caches that had a longitude greater than 93 degrees. That is how the Missouri reviewers set it up. Mr. Harmonica reviewed one half of Missouri, Mongo reviewed the other half, and *gln kept the data base clean and helped out when needed. Will *gln and Mongo be at this event too, you ask? Maybe, we will see. We may even have more reviewers show up, since they are all invited. We may even get a Geocaching HQ Lackey to attend, but they are pretty busy.
What's the catch? The catch is, everyone who attends will participate in a game of CLUE. We will separate into groups and each group will be dealt a handful of clues and a score sheet of all the possible clues. Then one group at a time will ask the other groups if they have any of the possible clues. The clues to Mr. Harmonica's identity will be safely held by your hosts. Each group will have a chance to ask for clues until any one group wants to declare they are ready to reveal their clues, to the hosts, of who Mr. Harmonica is. If their clues are wrong, then that team is disqualified, and can not win. If their answers are correct, they will then guess who Mr. Harmonica really is. That team will then receive prizes.
Sound like fun? Well, that's not all. Since we have all of these Geocaching volunteer reviewers here, we will have a "Ask the Reviewer" event as well.
