Geocache Description:

Hemlock Cliffs Cache

This cache is located by the Hemlock Cliffs Trail  in the Hoosier National Forest.

Driving Instructions: From the junction of Indian 37 and Interstate 64, go North 2.7 miles to Crawford county 8 and turn left (West) (See picture 1) to an un named gravel road. take the gravel road (See Picture #2) for 1.7 miles West and then North to the marked entrance for Hemlock Cliffs National Scenic Trail. Turn right (North) at the sign and take the gravel road (Forest Service1134) to the loop at its end and park. The trailhead is east of the parking lot.

The trail is only 1.4 miles long so while you are in the area getting this cache you might also get the SantaCache You might as well hike the entire trail. (About 1 hour at the most, plus the search time.)

This cache is a 50 Cal. Ammo box with a Geocaching Label on the side. I have placed a lot of really nice goodies in the cache. Please take only one for each member of your group. There is an Ink Pen, Pencil, and Log Book.

Thanks for doing my cache and have fun. This area is really remarkable after a good rain (2 water Falls) or after a snow. If you have little ones with you keep a very close eye on them.
