Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (waypoint1).
Where: Meet us in the woodland (published co-ordinates), look for the rangers truck.
What: Since planting the woodland in 2015 some of our trees have outgrown their deer guards! We will be removing guards and restaking and supporting our stronger trees. We will then be adding rabbit protection guards to their trunks.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. Please bring any old bicycle inner tubes and an old pair of scissors if you have any.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.They will introduce the session and do the health and safety brief prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
