Tomas Manas (Thomas Mann, 6 June 1875, Lübeck – 12 August 1955, Zurich) is a German writer and critic, Nobel Prize laureate (awarded in 1929.), one of the most famous literature developers of the first half of the twentieth-century. He would spend summers in Nida resort on the lagoon. Having come to Nida from Egypt, he wondered on the views of the Curonian Spit. Tomas Manas (Thomas Mann; 1875 m. birželio 6 d. Liubeke – 1955 m. rugpjūčio 12 d. Ciuriche) – vokiečių rašytojas ir kritikas, Nobelio literatūros premijos laureatas (apdovanotas 1929 m.), vienas žymiausių pirmosios XX-ojo amžiaus pusės literatūros kūrėjų. Vasarodavo Nidos kurorte prie Kuršių marių. Atvykęs Nidon iš Egipto jis stebėjosi Kuršių nerijos vaizdais.
