Welcome to the fifth of several double themed caches: TV Trash / CITO!
TV Trash is what it is: A bunch of clues based upon trashy TV clips. Shows which you love, hate, guilty pleasures or shows you've loved to hate. And, along the lines of trash, each cache initially contained a little CITO kit, as this hiker is tired of seeing trash in the woods. If you want to grab a little CITO kit for your caching bag, then it may become a new good habit that benefits us all.
If you park at the coordinates for Redmond's Road off of the Team Gushue Highway, note that you can get the "Country Road" traditional geocaches at the same time, should you choose to do so.
TV Trash / CITO5: Bob Ross' Happy Accidents
Bob Ross and I go waaaaaaaay back. His "Joy of Painting" series was still in production when I was in university, and late weekend mornings you would often find a crew of glazed-over guys in the common room, with 10 mile stares watching along, eating chips for breakfast. And it all seemed right at the time.
Now, as a 40-something high school teacher, I work with legitmately stressed teenagers every day. They are facing much greater challenges than I ever did as a teen in the 80s. So it's quite common for me, around exams, to throw some Bob Ross on the (barely functional) interactive board that Danny bought the teachers before an election, to help ease the burden of the impending chemistry exam. And it still works.
This cache is at:
N47° 32.359' W52° 47.X9X'
where "X" is
X = brush * 3
where "brush" is the size, in inches, of the brush that Bob, to quote, "beats the devil out of", before he lifts his starting painting upward, before he starts again, with "no fear".
Enjoy.
