Bienvenue sur cette route de montagne magnifique !
Le col de la Croix culmine à 1778 mètres d'altitude. Il relie Villars-sur-Ollon aux Diablerets (2 villages du canton de Vaud).
Sa construction comme la route actuelle est achevée le 23 septembre 1971.
La route à une longueur de 18 km.
Le col est en général ouvert depuis le début du mois de mai à la fin du mois de novembre.
Il est fermé à la circulation en hiver, et transformé en piste de ski de fond du côté de Villars, et en piste de luge du côté Diablerets.
Concernant la cache, qui n'est pas très difficile à trouver, elle vous permettera d'avoir une vue sur le massif des Diablerets, ainsi que sur l'épingle sommitale.

Welcome to this beautiful mountain road!
The Col de la Croix peaks at 1778 meters above sea level. It connects Villars-sur-Ollon to Diablerets (2 villages in the canton of Vaud).
Its construction as the present road is completed on September 23, 1971.
The road has a length of 18 km.
The pass is usually open from the beginning of May to the end of November.
Closed to traffic in winter, and transformed into a cross-country skiing track on the Villars side, and on a toboggan run on the Diablerets side.
Regarding the cache, which is not very difficult to find, it will allow you to have a view of the massive Diablerets, as well as on the summit pin.
