Sebeka is a very small town whose name comes from an Ojibwe word meaning "town by the water".
This cache is hidden across the street from the very first Boarding House built in town to house the workers of K-line branch of the Great Northern Railway, which first came through the area in 1892. Also, across the street is the former ceramicware factory and kiln which once held the lifesize photograph commemorating Robert Wadlow's visit to Sebeka in August of 1939, Mr. Wadlow was the world's tallest man at that time.
Please, do NOT damage any trees, rocks, flowers, etc while searching for the cache. It's easy to find, but once you do find it please take the log book to the picnic table while logging your find.
This cache was placed with full permission from the Sebeka City Council, given during the April 2019 Session.
