On May 5, 2019, ShareBear64, Gingerbread, and I hiked the Big Sky Trail. One of the geocaches we were seeking was Lightningstar's Earthcache "Ice Cream Hill," https://coord.info/GC6RZQD. We had difficulty getting to GZ, so tried another route. A side-trail off the main road took us to an obviously archived and destroyed geocache. We thought for sure it was a Ligntningstar hide. It had a lot of classic signs of his hides: Constructed out of wood, mounted on a post, and apparently clever constructed. I immediately knew that I would hide a geocache here so grabbed the coordinates.
With some research by Seismic Quark, I was able to get the history of this geocache. It was not a Lightningstar hide. The geocache, Lookie-Loo, belonged to GeoSleuth662. Surprisingly, he or she only had one find and one hide before exiting the game. That's too bad because that geocache had 100% FAV points.
Badfeet helped me make a lockable ammo can. On 7-21, (which is the combination to the lock) ShareBear64 and I returned to the coordinates. I mounted the Ammo Can on the post. There are a number of ready-to-go geocaches inside. Please take one or two; there is no requirement to trade for them.
The parking coordinates provide the shortest route to the geocache. There are other approaches.
