Finnskogen ("Forest of the Finns") is an area of Norway and Sweden situated in the counties of Hedmark and Värmland respectively, named so because of immigration of Finnish people in the 17th century, the so-called Skogfinner/"Forest Finns".
The core area of Finnskogen lies in the eastern part of a small region known as Solør, on the border with Sweden. It consists of a forested belt of land, about 32 km (20 mi) wide. It is adjacent to the Swedish region with similar Finnish immigration, named Finnskogarna.
The location of the tresure in hidden in this "finnskogen" forest with an amazing view over the mountains that seperates Sweden from Norway. At the location of the tresure there is a treehouse, were your can sleep overnight for free with 2 or 3 persons. There is also a fireplace and water.
This part of Sweden has high mountains, wild rivers, numerous hiking trails like (Pelgrimsleden) and an astonishing rockformation with a breathtaking view over the "Klarälven". Also called "Klättern" which is located at the exact oposite side of the treehouse and the river. Hidden from the touris and therefore preserved in its original state. The trail is about 30min.
