As Grandparents with young Grandchildren, Paphos Zoo is one of our favourite places to take them whenever they visit us here. It's a great Zoo, and much larger than you would expect on a small island like Cyprus.
As you come back down the hill from the Zoo, you get a a really good view of Yeronisos Island which is just off the coast. Yeronisos translates, in English, to Holy Island and it was inhabited until the 15th Century, and recent excavations have uncovered a sanctuary dedicated to Apollo in the late Hellenistic period.
The cache is large enough for small TB's.
Please replace it exactly as found.
As always in Cyprus, please be wary of snakes and sharp thorns etc.
***Congratulations to Kan2 and LasaTwo on Joint First to Find***
