What is the story behind the name of this cache? I had intended to place a puzzle cache very nearby, and I had a great hide. (It would have been awesome, if I do say so myself). Anyway, I digress. When I started to write it up I realized that it might be too close to another cache nearby. I checked it out, and sure enough, it was about 50' too close to the other one.
Well, I came back armed with the coordinates to the other one to see if I could make up those last 50'. I found a place to hide it, and so I did. Then I left to run an errand across town. While on the errand it just kept bothering me that my SECOND CHOICE was not even close to my FIRST CHOICE in terms of awesomeness. I decided to retrieve it once again. I checked around a little, but could not find anywhere to put it that would come close to the standard I had set at the first location. On to my THIRD CHOICE.
My THIRD CHOICE dropped the standard from awesome to OK to pathetic. I dropped the puzzle, grabbed a much inferior container and hid it in a much inferior location. I have stooped to a new low here. Noboby should have any trouble with this at all, except, be warned:
- There could be severe muggle pressure at this location at certain times. BE STEALTHY!!!
- There could be some traffic issues here at times. This is not a location for kids to be looking. Just be observant and cautious and you should be ok.
- Parking is usually available nearby, but at certain times the parking area could be full. DO NOT PARK NEXT TO THE CACHE!!! THE ROAD IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH HERE!!! If the parking area is full you will have to park somewhere else and walk. The somewhere else is usually obvious.
Oh, by the way, I still plan to hide the other puzzle. I just need to find an appropriate location that lives up to my FIRST CHOICE!
