I was sitting around being despondent about the lack of public holidays in May after having so many early in the year, when I noticed an event by @gridge98 that made me think, we used to have a public holiday in May. However since 2006 it has been moved to March to allow us to be a little “Mad”. “Hoorah” I shouted. Let’s have another geocaching coffee event celebrating when we used to have a short week and so it was organised.

For interest the holiday moved is Adelaide Cup Day. It was traditionally on the third Monday of May.
