Lake Fenwick Park is set on more than 140 acres. The forested park offers a bounty of activities for all ages, and features a boat launch, fishing, disc golf and walking/running trails. Take in beautiful views of Mount Rainier and watch for birds and other wildlife. Lake Fenwick Park is a popular spot for shutterbugs, from pros setting up unforgettable senior pictures, to novices capturing the moment with their phones. The park is also a prime destination for dog walkers. Leashes required. Disc golfers give the challenging, wooded course high ratings. If you’re yearning for a cardio fix, take on the park’s little-known flight of 180 metal stairs.
2019 is the first year of a formal GeoTour for the expanded geocaching adventure in the cities of Auburn, Kent, Renton & Maple Valley, Washington. Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation, auburntourism.com, visitkent, the Port of Seattle and the WSGA are stakeholders in this GeoTour. There are 10 caches placed in each city. The geocaches highlight some scenic ourdoor area, park, trail, or general area of interest in these cities.
