.Point Eight, The Hard Way
is the latest in the Hard To Get To series where you are looking for a cache that is easy to find,
but may be hard to get to...


.....The cache is in the Fall Brooks Washburn Conservation Area in Middleboro about which very little is written online aside from “The area is open to the public and has no trails”. And one might add: no parking, no signage and except on maps and in reality, no visible presence...Anyway, I noticed this big green empty space and decided to go check it out. It's a conservation area, but there is clear evidence of hunters, so wear your orange in season. The terrain isn't too bad, but it is a bushwhack into a swamp, so think like a hunter and follow the deer. You'll likely see signs of both. I came in from the West, but maybe you can find an easier way. It's was about a eight tenths of a mile round trip for me, (so .4 + .4). Have fun. Dress for it.
