Originally, this cache was part of the Valley Cities GeoTour 2019. There were 40 caches placed throughout the four cities to take you to a variety of interesting or beautiful locations, and provide you with fun and informative geocaching experiences.
LONG DESCRIPTION
This geocache takes you to the beautiful and well maintained trail system in the Lake Desire area near the eastern boundary of Renton, Washington. Park near the corner just west of the cache and take either trail head for the short loop on the well maintained trail. The trails have an abundance of foliage for you to enjoy, such as bracken fern, sword fern, wood fern, and trees such as western redcedar, douglas fir, big leaf maple and vine maple, and a host of other native plants including pacific bleeding heart, herb robert and western trilium.

2019 is the first year of a formal GeoTour for the expanded geocaching adventure in the cities of Auburn, Kent, Renton & Maple Valley, Washington. Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation, auburntourism.com, visitkent, the Port of Seattle and the WSGA are stakeholders in this GeoTour. There are 10 caches placed in each city. The geocaches highlight some scenic ourdoor area, park, trail, or general area of interest in these cities.
