Originally, this cache was part of the Valley Cities GeoTour 2019. The geotour is over but there were 40 caches placed throughout the four cities to take you to a variety of interesting or beautiful locations, and provide you with fun and informative geocaching experiences.
DESCRIPTION
This parking lot and small park serves the north end of the trail that follows Soos Creek. The trail is wide, from 12' to 15' wide, and paved over solid ground and is an elevated concrete roadway where it passes over wetlands. It is popular with families, walkers and joggers and many young children have ridden their first bikes on this trail. A wide variety of unique ecosystems and plants are seen along its length, including wetlands, forests and salmon areas. Park hours are dawn to 30 minutes after dusk.

2019 is the first year of a formal GeoTour for the expanded geocaching adventure in the cities of Auburn, Kent, Renton & Maple Valley, Washington. Auburn Parks, Arts and Recreation, auburntourism.com, visitkent, the Port of Seattle and the WSGA are stakeholders in this GeoTour. There are 10 caches placed in each city. The geocaches highlight some scenic ourdoor area, park, trail, or general area of interest in these cities.
