On the island of Santo Antao, there was just one traditional cache, while the whole island seems to scream "CACHE"!!! So we chose this spot that we could see from our hotel room for the second Antonian traditional cache! :-) The Morre de Vento is a hill that gives a great view towards Sao Vicente in the South, the Tope de Coroa in the West, and the rim of the Cova de Paul in the East. The hike, starting from the trailhead on the main road, takes just under an hour. After the cache, you can either hike towards Espongeiro for a drink or a meal at Casa Espongeiro, or head back to the main road for the same at Biosphera. The cache is a small plastic container with a yellow lid, and is located 15 meters due north of the summit marker. See spoilers for the exact location.
