This is an extra large sized cache in Airway Heights, Wa. A couple key points of information are that:
(1) Cache IS located on Private Property ~ it is placed on our own property! So obviously, you have permission to be here.
(2) Cache is NOT handicachable because you have to traverse a fairly steep hill.
(3) The cache is a CAR, in the middle of the forest......it's not getting muggled so PLEASE don't DNF it!!
If you have been in the geocaching circles of Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington for at least 7 years, you may very well remember The Original Frogmobile....you know, that itty bitty green off roader?? Yes, a Chevy Mailibu was my off roader....to boldly go where no Malibu probably should have ever gone!! But go off roading it did!! So, this little car became quite infamous as fellow cachers spotted it off on this ATV trail, or this FS road way up in the boonies.....or running out of gas. (Usually about once a week since my gas guage had never worked! LOL!!) I drove this Frogmobile into the ground....until there was absolutely no hint of it ever having shocks....until the hole in it's unibody tweaked the frame enough to take out even brand new tires within a month. At that time, I upgraded to the Poionous Frogmobile.....my blue Ford Escape that actually has 4wd and the clearence to go where the Original Frogmobile went!! Hahaha!!
♥ Being the infamous car that it was, I always told everyone that they would know when the Frogmobile had reached it's final resting place......because then it would become a cache. Here it rests, as a geocache. It's had a full life and will live on in infamy!! ♥
So, here we have an extra large cache.....which is the trunk of the car.....and an infamous car cache to boot! But we aren't going to stop the coolness there.....we want a Frog-tastic art Frogmobile!! You get to help us achieve that, but please do so in respectful artistic creations!! You are allowed to put Frogs all over the Original Frogmobile!! You can paint them, draw them, sticker/decal them, or tape frogs to the car. But ONLY Frogs please!! Remember, be respectful and have fun!!
You will need to approach this cache by walking about a half of a mile along the Rails to Trails Hiking Project trail. )Please see parking coordinates) When you reach the reference point listed, you will be able to see the Frogmobile.....please decend the hill carefully. You can either take the steep game trail down, or go a little further up the trail to find a more gentle slope down.
