In 1972, brother and sister, Laz and Edith Weaver, donated 108 acres and a 1830s homestead to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. It has approximately 52 acres of virgin timber. There are several different trees and numerous wildflowers. In fact, it is considered one of the best wildflower displays in the state!
If you would like to hike the area, please make sure you follow all posted guidelines and stay on the trails at all times.
