Tällä paikalla on ollut vanha tulliparakki ja lossiyhteys Ruotsin puolelle Kolarin kohdalla. Kun silta rakennettiin vuonna 1980, siirtyi tullin paikka uuden tien ja sillan mukana. Nykyisin vanhalla tullipaikalla on kesäisin veneenlaskupaikka ja talvella siitä kulkee moottorikelkkareitti Suomesta Ruotsiin. Tullirakennus on nykyisin yksityisen käytössä.
This is the old customs place, where you could go to Sweden and back to Finland by small ferry. When the bridge over the Muonionriver was built on 1980, the place of the customs changed near the new road and the bridge. Today this place has in the summertime a slipway and in wintertime there is the road from Finland to Sweden for snowscooters. And no customs.
