This cache shows that Lincolnshire is not flat with this location in Caistor which is on the edge of the Wolds. An opportunity to take a rest awaits near this cache and to explore some of the history that this little Roman town has to offer. Across the road is one of the many blue historical site plaques in Caistor (a trail is available from the Post Office and Arts and Heritage Centre). Sitting at the gateway to the town and once home to the largest sheep fair in England, the former Fleece Inn is now home to a tearoom and shop. Caistor Civic Society offers walks of the town if you're interested.
