What better place to get together with fellow geocachers and have a picnic than Veteran's Memorial Park in Nashua, Iowa

The posted coordinates take you to the shelter house where we will have a casual meet and greet.  This meet and greet will include a picnic.  Bring your own meat and table service as well as your favorite side dish to share.  There is only one charcoal grill at this location so if one of you that has a pickup could bring a grill to help out that would really be great.  We will bring charcoal and lighter fluid so don't worry about that part.

When I talked to the city clerk at Nashua I found that the shelter could not be reserved, it's on a first come basis. In order to be sure our group will have the shelter I will get there early (9ish) and stake our claim.

In your will attend log please mention what your favorite side dish is that you will be bringing with to share.  (Not that I don't like potato salad, but if everyone brings the same thing....well, you know what I mean.)  Also, indicate the number in your group in order to give everyone an indication of how much to make.

I know some of you are a husband/wife team like ourselves, Parentsof4ks. I want to emphasize that if you have a muggle spouse, significant other, boy friend/girl friend that they are very much welcome as well. As a matter of fact, we would enjoy meeting them.

As with any of the events that I have had, there will be a drawing or two for some geo related items.  There has been lots of chatter about having an event at this location, you know why.  This is a picnic first, but you know we will have some time to do other things.
