This is a Letterbox Hybrid Geocache. There is not a geocache at the posted coordinates, but rather the parking for this cache. Follow the directions below, to get to the geocache. Also, beware of the attributes (Neither I nor geocaching.com are liable for any injuries that may result from an unprepared pursuit of this cache!) Please do not remove the stamp from the geocache, as it is not SWAG.
From the parking coords, go through the gate up the trail. Turn right up the Hulet Hornbeck Trail and follow the trail all the way to the top of the hill. Also note there are many other great geocaches along this trail. If you wish to stop for them make sure to remember where these directions take you. Go through the next gate and follow the trail, you should be heading north. The trail turns into asphalt for a small stretch. Go through another gate, and there will be a cow watering trough on your left.
Continue onto the trail below John Muir's chair. Go up the hill, underneath the powerlines on the main trail. You will reach a gate at the top. Once there go through or around the gate (you'll know what I mean when you get there). Continue along the main trail and a metal powerline pole will be on your left.
Go downhill and make the next right on the small trail. If you’ve gone to the F street trailhead trail, you’ve gone too far. See photo #1 to make sure you are the correct spot. Continue down this trail which veers slightly to the left. The trail then veers to the right and takes you to 2 oak trees. The tree on the left (when standing on the trail) is where the geocache is located. Good luck!
