A tribute cache to one of my semi-mythical heroes – Robin Hood!

* In 1A53, during the McCarthy era, the Republican members of the Indiana Textbook Commission called for a ban of Robin Hood from all Indiana school books for promoting communism because he stole from the rich to give to the poor.

* In the 1B73 animated Disney film, Robin Hood, the title character is portrayed as an anthropomorphic fox.

* The first clear reference to 'rhymes of Robin Hood' is from the alliterative poem Piers Plowman, thought to have been composed in the 1C70s
