IMPORTANT: Sometimes there are muggles near ground zero. If it is clear they will see you searching for or finding the geocache, please consider coming back a later time. I don't want my container ruined or stolen.
In the few years that I have lived in Tirana, it has always felt strange to me to not hear birds around me. This is mainly because Tirana is quite a grey city and it seems as though not much attention is paid to green development (although this is improving bit by bit as more trees are planted along roads and in parks). However, the Tirana park is one of the few places where natural birdsong can be heard. During spring, it is a magical experience to sit on the ground, feel the sun shine in your face, smell the fresh grass, and hear the chants and whistles of woodpeckers and many other birds.
This geocache is located in one of the spots in the park where this is possible. It is an elevated, quiet, open patch of grass between the shrubs and the edge of the park. The wall to the East side is the separation between the park and a large government residence. Because it is near the edge of the park, it is secluded and calm. This lovely place is one of my favorites in the park.
When you go looking for this cache (and the weather is tolerant) (and you have time), I'd recommend doing what I just described. Find a rock or a log to sit on and soak in the nature around you.
I hope you enjoy the experience.
