This is seventeeth (old enough to drive!) in a series of midweek regular meets in the centre of Leeds. Zoe94, Sam539 and I take turns to organise. This is an informal get together of geocachers to chat about all things caching and non-caching, and the sixth in the series that I have hosted.
The event will be at Whitelock's Ale House, Turks Head Yard, Leeds, LS1 6HB from the usual time of 18:30 to 20:30, but I’m sure a few people will stay longer than that. We’re a friendly bunch, so cachers old and new are welcome. If you haven’t been to an event before, drop me a message beforehand and I’ll look out for you. Hopefully we’ll be obvious to find.
How to get there:
- By train - Leeds railway station is about a 10 minute walk from the venue, using the main entrance.
- By bus - Leeds City Bus Station is a 10 minute walk away. Many buses also stop nearby at the Train Station, or on Boar Lane, a five minute walk.
- By car - As it’s a city centre it’s recommended to come by train or bus. Paid parking is available at the Trinity car park (see waypoint), about a five minute walk away.
The venue offers food and drink, including beers on tap. A menu can be found online at their website. If anyone would (optionally) like food, the venue has requested pre-orders be made, so please let me know in your log.
I look forward to seeing you there!
