You may not be aware of it, but at one time there used to be a Masonic Lodge in almost every community.
This cache is placed in the back lot of what is now, John W. Barkley Lodge #621. It was originally home to North Olmsted Lodge #741 from 1952 until our merger with Barkley in 2004. I joined North Olmsted in 1996 and am now proud to call myself a member of John W. Barkley Lodge #621, but I’ll never forget good old #741.
In its heyday, North Olmsted Lodge was host to several award dinners for “nonmember” community leaders, sponsoring of youth baseball and hockey teams, and offering assistance, both financial and physical, to citizens as their need became aware to us. Working through local churches to provide Children’s Christmas parties for those families that have fallen on hard times.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, these coordinates are a good place to park (and complete the puzzle) with just a short walk to ground zero. All you have to do is circle all the letters relating to the names of famous Masons, some you may know, others you might not realize were Masons. The letters that are left will spell out the correct coordinates. Happy Hunting!
CONGRATULATIONS to Bryon for "First to Find"
