This cache is placed at the access trail to the Hollow Oak Land Trust Forestbrooke Conservation Area. I wanted to place a cache further in the property, but it really is a literal wetlands and hard to navigate. This 7 acre space is in the process of stream side riparian buffer restoration project. If you take a short walk down the trail near the cache, notice of all the tree tubes! These were planted by volunteers in 2018 and consist of various water tolerant trees. Also note the abundance of invasive canary grass. This species chokes out native wetland plants
Park on Oak Moss Road to access this area - can be a park n grab.
