Батошевският манастир „Успение Богородично“ се намира в Средния Предбалкан, на 17 км. южно от гр. Севлиево. Основан е през 13 век по времето на цар Михаил II Асен и се състои от църква, двуетажни жилищни постройки, камбанария и стопански помещения.
Цялата местност около манастира, който е действащ, е много живописна, обграден е от букови гори, а до него се стига по тесен криволичещ асфалтов път.
От мястото на кеша се открива гледка както към манастира, така и към сградата на изоставен пионерски лагер, построен от дарение на будни севлиевци.
The Monastery of Batoshevo named "Dormition of The Mother of God" is located in the Middle Fore-Balkan and is 17 km South from Sevlievo. It is founded in the 13-th century during the reign of Tzar Michail II Assen and encompasses a church, some two-storey living facilities, a belfry and auxiliary buildings.
The entire surrounding of the monastery is picturesque, there are beech forests around and the site itself can be reached following a narrow winding asphalted road.
The place of the cache offers view to the monastery and to an abandoned camp for children built with the donation of generous people from Sevlievo.
