This cache is part of a group of caches that make a loop starting and ending at the intersection of the red-marked Charcoal Burners (CB) trail and Route 301. The cache is a mystery cache located a short distance down an unmarked spur trail that leads from the white-marked Cabot Trail (CA) to Jordan Pond. The listed coordinates mark the location of the start of the spur trail along th CA trail. To find the cache, look at the three photos in the gallery marked "Reference 1", "Reference 2", and "Reference 3". Find the location from which these photos were taken. The cache is located 85 feet away at a heading of 112 degrees true. Please replace the cache as you found it.
To reach this cache, you can either pick up the start of the Perkins trail a short way from 301 along the CB Trail and then follow the PT to the Cabot trail or take the CB trail to its intersection with the Cabot trail. The parking coordinates indicate where the CB trail crosses route 301 and the trailhead coordinates indicate where the PT starts along the CB trail.
