Welcome to the Quidi Vidi end of the Sugarloaf Trail. Whether you've just started or come from Logy Bay, the area that holds this cache is somewhat unique from the rest of this trail.
The title for the cache was hard to decide upon. Should we go with "Quidi Vidi Hat Launch Pad", or "Jacket Required" (I dare you to come here in a T-shirt only). In the end we went with our best Bayman twang: "Froze ta Det ta See Dat". This gives homage to all attributes of ground zero. Regardless of the season, when you come here the wind will likely have you "frozen to death." Yet, you won't care, because you will be able to experience "seeing that". On the 9C day in mid-May that this cache was placed, there were three icebergs in view, and the waves crashing upon the entrance to Quidi Vidi were better than a fireworks show.
The cache is a 500mL camo'd screw top container, hidden in one of the few not-barren places at GZ. At the time of placement there was the usual swag and a travel bug.
