Roberts Park was donated to the city of Connersville in 1902. It includes 80-acres with many of the existing structures dating back to the early and mid-1900s. A lot of the improvements were made by the Works Progress Administration. This is also the home of Longwood Covered Bridge (original location was at GC3DF4R (N 39° 39.379 W 085° 14.206). The bridge was originally built in 1884 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places from 1981 to 1989 and re-listed in 2014.
