Geocache Description:

Prime Material | Belval 2069

Luxembourg, late sixties — Once a land of farming and steel factories, the country has now become a world leader in asteroid mining. Minerals extracted from space rocks and dead comets end up here, in Belval, for refining and study at the nearby, well-established university, now celebrating its 66th birthday. You are a Principal Investigator, tasked with inspecting a strange phenomenon that recently appeared on the campus and threatens the fabric of our very civilization.

This Wherigo cache takes you on a murky science-fiction journey around campus, with strong story beats, challenging puzzles and handcrafted illustrations. Several visits may be required.

A spaceship mines an asteroid in space.

This story was written in summer 2019, half a year before the COVID-19 pandemic started. Therefore, despite a certain thematic connection, no identification with actual events is intended.
